  Services for Wendy Stoneman, 61, of Lubbock, were at 12:00 noon Friday, January 14, 2000 at Hub of the Plains with Mr. Walt Sanders officiating. Burial was in Red Mud Cemetery under the direction of Chapel of Angels Funeral Home.

Mr. Stoneman died Tuesday, January 11, 2000. He was born in Jayton and had been a resident of Lubbock for 50 years. He married Vannoy Washington May 25, 1962 in Lubbock. He was a concrete contractor and a PRCA champion. He was helped and lived by many friends of Bill W. He was a member of the Hub of the Plains.

Survivors include one son, Duke Stoneman of Fair Oaks, IN; one daughter, Tracie Henry of Norman, OK; one granddaughter, Shardae Jones of Norman, OK; three brothers, Charles Stoneman and Alvis Stoneman, both of Spur, and Cleo Stoneman of Dalhart and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Kevin Peterson, Randy Ceplina, Larry Simmons, Charles Edward Stoneman, Rayburn Stoneman, and Cody Washington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Hub of the Plains, 3808 34th, Lubbock, TX 79410.
