Obituary
- Funeral Services Held at Red Mud in Dickens Co. Wednesday
Mrs. Jane Smith, 88, died Tuesday at the home of her son, W. B. Smith of this city. Funeral services were held at Red Mud in Dickens county Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. V. Billberry. She was buried in Red Mud Cemetery, with A. A. Hatchell, undertaker, in charge.
She is survived by six sons; W. B., Crosbyton; O. C. Smith, Par View, N.M.; A. M. Smith, Kalgary; R. R. Smith, Spur; J. D. Smith, Anchor, N.M. All were present at the funeral except a son in Arizona.
Pallbearers were: W. G. Hinson, W. C. McArthur, R. E. Harrell, T. E. Lane, W. B. Williams, and Tom Williams.
