Graveside services for Jessie P. Shackelfod, 90, of Spur, were held March 7, 1992 in Red Mud Cemetery, with Rev. Carl Coffee, pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church, officiating.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Shackelford died March 6, 1992 in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born December 12, 1901 in Carthage, Texas and had made his home in Dickens County since 1924.

Survivors include two brothers, Adams Shackelford and Sam Shackelford, both of Spur; three sisters, Geneva Smith, Slaton; Jenetta McClain, Grand Prairie and Jewel Deaton, Hamlin.

Pallbearers included Alvis Bilberry, Robert Hahn, Herbert Berry and Sonny Rutledge.
