Funeral services for Mrs. Orien Marie Patterson, 57, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Sanders, church pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Patterson died December 10 in West Texas Hospital, Lubbock. She was an employer of Salty's Apparel at the time of her death. Born in Dickens County, she resided here until 1955 when she moved to Arizona. She and her husband returned to Spur in 1975.

Survivors include her husband, Pat Patterson, Spur; a son, Larry David Patterson, Houston; a daughter, Peggy Clement, San Manuel, Ariz.; her mother, Laura Williams, Spur and one sister, Hazel McClain, Spur; six grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Alan McClain, Charles McClain, Tommy Clement, Eddy Clement, Danny Heffington and Glenn Jones.

Burial was in Red Mud Cemetery.
