Kicked By A Mule

Elzy Cross, of Dickens was brought to Spur Wednesday and placed in the Standifer Hostpial for treatment, he having received injuries Wednesday morning in being kicked by a mule. The injuries proved fatal, Mr. Cross having died in the hospital Thursday morning.

Mr. Cross was one of the old settlers of the country, and among the most substantial and highly respected citizens.
