Carrie Childress, 81, of Burnet, Died Friday, February 3, 1989.Miss Childress was born January 25, 1908 in Dalby springs, Texas. She was the daughter of John C. Childress and Dora Cox. She worked as a sales clerk for G.F. Wackers Stores. She was a resident of Spur for many years before living the past six years in Burnet.
Graveside services for Miss Childress were held Monday, February 6, at Red Mud Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, burnet.
She is survived by one sister, Irene Sotor of Eugene, Oregon and a brother, Harvey Childress of Burnet. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
