A former McAdoo resident, Dickey Ray Woolley, succumbed at 8:45 a.m. last Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Highland Hospital in Lubbock following a lengthy illness. Woolley, 40, moved to Lubbock three years ago from McAdoo, where he was born.

Memorial rites were at 2 p.m. Friday in the McAdoo Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Coffey, Baptist minister from Sayre, Okla., officiating and the Rev. Rodney Brown of McAdoo assisting.
