Spur — Rites for Orville Buck Stephens, 62 year-old retired farmer from McAdoo at 3:00 p.m. today at McAdoo Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Hawkins, pastor of Pansy Baptist Church officiating.
Stephens died Friday in the Kerville Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Buck came to McAdoo in 1938. � Survivors include six cousins , E.H. Tooke of McAdoo, Tx., Bill Tooke of Lubbock, Tx., Goldie Tooke of Crane, Tx., Dexter Tooke of Boring, Or. Lillian Milstead of Hot Springs, Ar. and Beulah Skelton of Pontotoc of Ms.
Pallbearers will be L.S. Harvey, Nath Stevenson, Pete Dardon, Jabez Rigsby, Emmett Phifer and Charles Harris. Burial will be in McAdoo Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
