E.C. Robertson, many years a citizen of McAdoo passed away at his farm home at seven o'clock Monday evening. The cause of his demise was reported as a malignant tumor of the liver. He had been ill a long time and a few weeks ago returned from Temple where he had gone through the Scott and White Clinic.Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. Rev. J.B. Baker, the pastor, was in charge of the services. Interment followed in McAdoo Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow and children and other relatives.

A former McAdoo resident, Mrs. Junie Robertson, died at 1:35 p.m. Sunday in the home of a son in Lubbock. She had been living in Oregon and was only visiting on the Plains.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, in the First Methodist Church of McAdoo. Mrs. Robertson, 73, resided there from 1924 to 1947.
Officiating at rites are Frank Beauchamp, Shamrock, and Rev. A.R. Mathis, pastor. Mrs. Robertson was a member of Four-square Church.
Survivors include nine sons, D.L., Lubbock; G.W., Mill Valley, Calif.; Ed, Lubbock; G.P. Grants Pass, Ore.; B.M., Amarillo; Joe, Central Point, Ore.; H.D., Amarillo; M.J., Grnats Pass, Ore.; Bob, Lubbock; three daughters, Mrs. Vera Cox, San Francisco; Mrs. Lozell Brunell, Grants Pass, Ore.; Mrs. Geraldine Goode, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. J.A. Kilgore, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. C.N. Kilgore, Pomona, Calif.; 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in McAdoo Cemetery by Franklin Bartley Fruneral Home.
