CROSBYTON (Special) — Services for Howard Wayne McWilliams, 29, of Corpus Christi will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of McAdoo with the Rev. James Pope of Lubbock and the Rev. Larry Hicks, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the McAdoo Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home here.

McWilliams died Sunday in Corpus Christi of self-inflicted gunshot wounds according to the Corpus Christi medical examiner.

A native of Ralls, he graduated form McAdoo High School. He attended West Texas State University. He served four years with the U.S. Army. He was a foreman for Bell Helicopter in Corpus Christi.

Survivors include his wife, Neta; his mother, Mrs. Oma Greg of McAdoo; a brother, Bill of Spur; a sister, Mrs. Lyn Parker of Corpus Christi; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawton McWilliams and Loyd Hickman, all of McAdoo.
