Services Held Sunday for Mrs. Ethel McDonald

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ethel McDonald, 79, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Pansy Baptist Church. Rev. L. E. White, pastor, officiated with Rev. C. W. Pate, McAdoo Baptist pastor, assisting.

Mrs. McDonald died at 7 a.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. she had been ill only a short time.

Born in Webster county, Mississippi. Mrs. McDonald moved to McAdoo in 1920.

Survivors include four sons, Milton, McAdoo, Archie of Dumas, Marshall of Palo Alta, Calif., Robert of Bernardsville, N.J., two daughters, Mrs. Henry Searcy, Alamagordo, N.M. and Mrs. Howel Slaughter, Mobile, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. R. P. Glenn, Haskell, Mrs. Cora Sistrunk, Los Angeles, Calif., and twin-sister, Mrs. F. R. Mays, Dallas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Burial was in McAdoo cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
