CROSBYTON (Special) Services for James Brannon "Jim" McClure, 70, of McAdoo will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at McAdoo First Baptist Church with Ken Horn officiating.
Burial will be at McAdoo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at home. He was born Jan. 15, 1929 in Crosby County. He married Lili Watts on Oct. 28, 1973, in Amarillo. He was a member of McAdoo First Baptist Church. He attended school at Mount Blanco and Crosbyton High School. He attended Hardin- Simmons University, Texas Tech and St. Mary's Law School. He worked as an insurance handler for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a corporal in the Army Air Corps. He moved to McAdoo on June 20, 1996, from Wewahitchka, Fla. He was a former resident of Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Jimmy B. "Dusty" McClure of Matador, Brannon McClure of McAdoo, James McClure II of McAdoo, Dusty Casey McClure of McAdoo and Michael McClure of Blanco; five daughters, Brandee McClure of Matador, Vichelle Weathers of Lubbock, Roxanne Roberts of Arlington, Debra Perrett of San Antonio and Martha Tower of Leavenworth, Wash.; two brothers, Ronald McClure of Crosbyton and Duane McClure of Lamesa; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Graveside services for Lili McClure, 64, of Lockney were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at McAdoo Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Gentry officiating. Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, July 13, 2002, in Lubbock. She was born March 3, 1938, in Amarillo, where she married James Brannon "Jim" McClure on Oct. 28, 1973 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1999.
She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple in Bedford, Texas. She was an office manager for Jim B. McClure Claims Service in Mesquite, Texas. She moved to McAdoo in 1996 from Wewahitchka, Fla., and then to Lockney in March 2002.
Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Brent McClure and Dustin Casey McClure, both of Matador, Brannon McClure of Bedford and James Brannon McClure of Lubbock; a stepson, Michael McCloure of San Antonio; three daughters, Vichelle Weathers of Lubbock, Roxanne Roberts of Bedford and Brandee Lefevre of Matador; two stepdaughters, Debra Perrett of San Antonio and Jodie; two brothers, Jim Besherse of Amarillo and Doug McManus; three sisters, Carol Sands of Bedford, Betty Parks of Wichita Falls and Vivian Hill of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
