Memorial services for Carolyn G. Kingery of McAdoo were at 3 p.m. last Tuesday in the Pansy Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Rouse, pastor, officiated.Interment was made in McAdoo Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Mrs. Kingery, 48, was claimed by death at 10 p.m. the previous Sunday in M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. She had undergone surgery about two months before.
A native of Miller County, Ark., Mrs. Kingery moved to Crosbyton in 1974 from Lubbock. She and Roger Kingery were married on July 2, 1970, in Lubbock.
The deceased was an active member of the Pansy Baptist Church. She also did extensive volunteer work at Crosbyton Care Center.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Nita Daniel of Lubbock; two sons, John Tue of Crosbyton and Gary Tue of Lubbock; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Smith of Texarkana, Ark.; four brothers, A.V. Smith Jr. of Texarkana, Ark., Aurbary D. Smith of Plano, Billy Smith of Midland, and Gary Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; five sisters, Loneita Shoemaker of Little Rock, Ark., Mary Frances Redfearn of Deona, Ark., Sharon Skinner, Ela Jean Storey, and Sandra Stephens, all of Texarkana, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
