PLAINVIEW (Special) — Services for June Corine Hughes, 73, of Plainview will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Foote of Northside Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in McAdoo Cemetery under direction of Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

She died Wednesday, April 9, 1997, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Hall County. She married Rupert Hughes on Jan. 5, 1946, in Memphis. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and she moved to Plainview in 1965.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Bearings and Industrial Supply. A son, Donald, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathy Moody of San Antonio; a son, Ronny of Plainview; two brothers, Jack Moreman of Lubbock and Bob Moreman of Pasco, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
