Mark Holland PhotoServices for Mark Randall Holland, 58, of Lubbock, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at Bacon Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock, with Rev. Ken Hayman officiating. Burial will follow in the McAdoo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mark passed away on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Lubbock's University Medical Center.

He was born on Feb. 7, 1952 in Lubbock to Jackson Wame and Mary Louise (Latta) Holland. Mark was a Baptist and moved to Lubbock from Arizona. He attended high school in Levelland and graduated from Elfrida High School in Elfrida, Ariz., where he was involved in both the band and sports. In 1972, he married Cookie Bond in Sunizona, Ariz. He enjoyed all types of music from a very young age and enjoyed traveling. He spent several years driving a truck all over the United States. Mark was blessed to live near his parents in Lubbock for the latter part of his life.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother, James W. Holland, in 1977; and his father, Jackson Wame Holland, in 2008. Survivors include his son, Christopher Mark Holland and wife Kelly Holland of Quincy, Calif.; daughter, Jamie Holland of Jefferson City, Mo.; mother, Mary Louise Holland of Lubbock; sister, LuAnn Williams and husband Philip Williams of Tucson, Ariz.; along with extended family.
