  McADOO (Special) — Services for Guinn Loyd Hickman, 72, of McAdoo will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church in Slaton, officiating.

The Rev. Carl Coffey, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Spur, will assist, and burial in McAdoo Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Hickman died Sunday, Jan. 1, 1995, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born on March 1, 1922, in Crosby County and was married to Wilma Jo Buckner on Dec. 31, 1948, in McAdoo. He was a longtime resident of McAdoo, where he was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church and for 12 years was a trustee of the Associated Cotton, Growers. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dwight and Lane, both of McAdoo; a brother, Howard of Crosbyton; a sister, Oma McWilliams of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
