Coy French Services for Carol Glenn French, 81, of Southland will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 29, 2010 in the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Tim Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the McAdoo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Carol passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born April 6, 1929 in Bailey County to the late George Dewey and Eunice (Cox) French. He married Joan Strue in Lubbock. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2008.

Carol moved to Southland in 1992 from Artesia, New Mexico and was a former resident of McAdoo. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.

Carol is preceded in death by a son, Jerry French, a brother ,Coy Semmion French and a sister, Wanda Ray.

Survivors include, two sons, James French of Lubbock, Terry French of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Carla Caflin of Lubbock and six grandchildren.
