T.L. Dozier, 80 Buried Tuesday At McAdoo

Funeral services for Thomas Lafayette Dozier, 80, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McAdoo Methodist church, with the pastor, Rev. James Patterson, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Frank Beauchamp of Littlefield, and burial was in the McAdoo cemetery.

Mr. Dozier died Monday in the Crosbyton hospital. A native of Earth county, he had lived in Dickens county since 1929. He was a farmer in the McAdoo community.

He is survived by two daughters, Miss Lillie Maude Dozier, of McAdoo, and Mrs. Reba Snow of Camay; four grandsons; four brothers, Robert Dozier, Seagraves; Walter Dozier, Dumont; Henry Dozier, Waco, and Ed Dozier, Spur; and two sisters, Mrs. Florrie Cavitt, Dickens, and Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Roswell, N. Mex.

Pallbearers were John Allen, John Formby, George Potts, Elois Nichols, Elmer Carroll and H.U. Butts.
