Cornelius

  Funeral services for Lenoard Cornelius, 71, were held last Thursday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the McAdoo Church of Christ. Leonard Dennis, minister, officiated.

Mr. Cornelius died April 26 in the Crosbyton Hospital. A resident of Dickens County since 1924, he had farming interests at McAdoo. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Laura Cornelius, McAdoo; three sisters, Mrs. Rena Baker,Spur; Mrs. Odessa Tullus, San Angelo and Mrs. Mary Howell, Woodville; four brothers, John and Leslie Cornelius, both of McAdoo; Raymond Cornelius, Mena, Ark. and Marvin Cornelius, Houston.

Burial was in McAdoo Cemetery.
