Funeral services were conducted over the remains of John Wilson Clark at McAdoo at two o'clock Tuesday of last week. Mr. Clark passed away at his home at Grandview July 31, at the age of 61 years.

Mr. Clark was born April 27, 1877. He was married to Miss Mary Ella Wyble in the year 1891. Six children came into the home, five of whom survive, H.L. Clark of McAdoo, D.W. Clark of Cleburne, E.A. Clark of Grandview, Mrs. S.T. Dennis of McAdoo and Mrs. J.E. McGee of San Angelo.

He had lived in the McAdoo community several years before moving to Grandview about one year ago. While living at Whitney, Mr. Clark made a profession of religion while a young man. He was a good Christian man and held the respect of those who knew him.
