U.S.Flag     Services for Harold Brantley, 68, of Roaring Springs were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30 in the First Baptist Church with Charlie Long officiating.

Burial was in McAdoo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died at 12:46 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 1990, at St. Mary´s hospital in Lubbock after a brief illness.

Brantley was born in McAdoo and moved to Roaring Springs in 1969 from Ruidoso, NM. In 1948, he married Pat Taylor in Abilene. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps.

Brantley was a carpenter and a former city secretary of Roaring Springs. He was a member of Spur Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Camille Brantley of Laguna Beach, Calif.; and a sister, Sybil Gardner of McAdoo.
