Biography

James Beautrix "Pete" Barton, was the son of James Jackson Barton and wife Edna Isella Morrison Holly. James Beautrix was born in March of 1909. He came with his parents to McAdoo about 1913. He attended school at McAdoo.

James married Daisy (Boucher) Latta, a young widow with a small daughter, Louise. Another daughter was born, Anita who married James Rabe. Both Louise and Anita attended McAdoo school and both graduated there. Louise married a man by the name of Holland.
