Pearl Finnie was born in 1903 in Arkansas to John H. and Lucy Finnie.
She married Thomas O'Connor "Tommy" Adair in 1921 in White County, Arkansas when she was 18 years old.
Thomas remarried Essie Bynetta Allen Adair Short and they had one daughter together. He died on November 19, 1964, in Solano County, California, at the age of 71, and was buried in Benicia, California.
