Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 4, at 5 o'clock for Ina Opal Karr Kerley, who was found dead in her home near Girard Tuesday morning, June 3. Services were read at the Espuela church with Rev. H.L. Burnham officiated. Interment was in the Espuela Cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kerley, who was born in Dickens County, December 20, 1917, to Mr. And Mrs. J.L. Karr, was married to Lynn Kerley, February 22 of this year and had made her home on their farm near Girard since. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were J.B. Johnston Darwin Callahan, Carl Murray, Murl Foreman, Jim Bridge and Lloyd Ball.

Surviving are her father and mother, Mr. And Mrs. J.L. Karr of the Espuela Community, one sister, Mrs. Pauline Collett of Tyler and four brothers, Hubert, Guy, and Harold Karr of Spur and Ray Karr of Harlingen, Texas.
