Born in Eastland Co., TX on February 18, 1900, a twin and the 19th child of Moses B. and Nancy E. Jones Mimms.

Paternal grandparents: Stephen W. and Mary Mimms

Maternal grandparents: Hardy and Martha C. Blackburn Jones

Ruth departed this life, September 26, 1928 in Dickens County, TX.

She was married to Joe Williams.

To this union were born three children: Joe Billy, Truman and Bobbie Ruth. Bobbie Ruth was one year old at the time of her mother's death and was adopted by Ruth's sister, Maud Minnix.
