Services were held for Mrs. Lillie A. Whitehurst, Friday, January 13 at 4:30 p.m. at the Dickens Baptist Church. Rev. V.D. Walters officiated the services.

Mrs. Whitehurst was born July 6, 1876 in Pancola Co., Texas. She married Ed Whitehurst in 1909. In 1946 she made her home with her son in Dickens.

She is survived by one son, L.L. Whitehurst of Dickens, 2 sisters, Mrs. Kate Ferguson and Estelle Baggett both of Calif. and 2 grandsons.

Chandlers Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Interment was in the Dickens Cemetery.
