SPUR (Special) — Services for Charles Alton "Chubby" White, 70, of Dickens will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Spur Church of Christ. Officiating will be Vernon Williams, a Church of Christ minister, and assisting will be Randy Mashburn, minister of Spur Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

White died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at a residence in Lubbock. Justice of the Peace Wayne LeCroy ruled death as natural causes.

He was born in Breckenridge but lived in Dickens County most of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include four brothers, Clyde of Dickens, Kenneth of Stockton, Calif., Tommy of Kosse and Virgil of Arlington, and a sister, Annie Mae Payne of Lubbock.
