Services Held For David Ray Webster

Funeral services were held for David Ray Webster, April 24 at 3 p.m. in the Dickens Baptist Church with V.D. Walters officiating the services.

David Ray was born in Matador July 7, 1948 and died in the Matador Hospital April 23, 1950.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. George T. Webster of Roaring Springs, 3 sisters Betty Joyce, Lucy Mae and Marie, 2 brothers, Jimmy and Geo. Wayne, Grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. J.W. Parr of Functon, Texas and Mrs. Bell Webster of Spur and R.B. Webster of Georgia.

Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Interment was in the Dickens Cemetery.

Note: obituary identifies as David Ray Webster, However birth records and headstone have Kent as the middle name.

Note: Birth certificate record says date of birth was July 7, 1948 which is different from the date of on the headstone placed in the Dickens Cemetery. Motley County Birth Records on the roots web-Motley County website says Date of Birth is July 30, 1948 which is the date on the headstone.

Note: Death records say date of death was April 23, 1950, died in Matador Hospital; headstone placed in the Dickens Cemetery says April 1949.
