Funeral services for G.H. Bee Street, 71, of Nashville, Arkansas, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Spur. Rev. Archie Echols, church pastor, officiated.Mr. Street died June 24, 1976 in a Nashville hospital. Both he and his wife were raised in Dickens County. He retired from General Telephone Co. after 30 years service. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Louise Rogers Street, Nashville, Arkansas; a daughter, Mrs. Patsy Street Hoover, Cheraw, South Carolina; his mother, Mrs. Josie Street, Nashville, Arkansas; three brothers, Dr. W. E. Street, Nashville, Arkansas; K. Willow Street, Dickens; and C.G. Street, Brownfield.
One sister, Mrs. Dannie Hudgens, Abilene; three grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers included T.W. Mackey, M.J. Cotter, W.R. Stanley, Earl Berg, Kenneth Berg, Gene Lamp, W.R. Tucker and R.E. Sanders. Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
