Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. April 11 in the Dickens Church of Christ for Mrs. (C.W.) Allie Reese Stephens, 87. Alva Johnson, Turkey, officiated.

Mrs. Stephens died at her home in Dickens following a lengthy illness.

A resident of Dickens County since 1911, she was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. O.C. Arthur, Abilene; Mrs. W.V. Arthur, Dickens, Mrs. Ben Thomas, Ft. Worth and Mrs. Robert Amunds, also of Ft. Worth; one son, Mr. Tom Stephens, El Monte, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Dick McCaniles, Benjamin; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tom Stephens, Jr., Carl Arthur, J.A. Moore, Thurman Hoover, Truett Pritchett, Virgil Rogers, Mace Hunter, Hollis Warr.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
