FELL FROM HIS HORSE Young Man Found Almost Dead on the Prairie Dickens, Tex., August 20

The citizens of our town were shocked yesterday on learning the sad fate of one of our young men, 18 years of age, who rode out of town in the vigor of manhood about 1 oclock yesterday and was found on the prairie about two hours afterward by his father, J. F. Spee,[sic] in an unconscious condition, where he had been thrown from his horse. He never gained consciousness and died at 5 oclock this morning.

Walter was esteemed by all who knew him.
