Clydia Snow Smith 59, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 12, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. Snow was born on April 1, 1953 in Levelland, Texas to Clyde and Marie Asberry White.
Snow was loved by everyone that knew her, and she made the kids at Patton Springs School her kids as well raising two of her own. She worked in the Patton Springs Cafeteria for twenty nine years and as the School Cafeteria Supervisor for many of those years.
Snow is survived by her two children; one daughter Rhonda Maines and husband Chad of Dickens, Tx and one son Derek Smith and wife Kelsey of Calgary, Tx.; two brothers Kenneth Elliott of Waco, Tx. and Tony Elliott of Monroe, La. She was also blessed with three grandchildren one grandson Eli Jenkins and two granddaughters Maggie Jenkins and Ella Jenkins and one grandson to be born in June.
Snow was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Marie White.
Service will be Thursday February 14, 2013 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Spur, Texas with Larry McLenny officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home in Spur. Intement will follow at the Dickens Cemetery in Dickens, Texas.
In lieu of flowers family suggest memorials to Dickens Senior Citizens Center.
