Graveside services for Vernon Lee Roberts II, infant son of Marvin and Patsy Roberts of Lubbock, will be at 11 a.m. today in Dickens Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, pastor of New Deal Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.

He died Sunday morning at Lubbock General Hospital after a brief illness.

Survivors include his parents, paternal grandmother, Jeanne Fae Mitchell of Roytalton, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy O'Neal of Lubbock; and maternal great grandparents, Opal Shetter of Dickens, Mr. and Mrs. Earl O'Neal and Mrs. Jewel O'Neal, all of Charleston, Ark.
