U.S.Flag Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Chapel for Luther Ray, 76, Rev. Victor Crabtree, officiating. Spur VFW conducted military rites at gravesite.

Mr. Ray had been a resident of Dickens County since 1949. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Ray, Dickens, one son, Jack Ray, Guthrie, three daughters, Mrs. Jack Cook, Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Virgil Bowman, Ashland, Kansas; Mrs. Weldon Wall, Seymour; one brother, G.A. Ray, Dalhart and one sister, Mrs. Nora Hayse, Tulia; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
