Funeral services for Ira Jack Parvin, 70, a retired mechanic, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ruby Baley, Spur, officiating.

Mr. Parvin died Feb. 19 at his home in Dickens. He had been a 28 year resident of Floydada and lived in Lubbock from 1967 to March, 1973, when he moved to Dickens. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maude Parvin, Dickens; three sons, Elbet Parvin, McAdoo, Raymond Parvin, Dickens and Lynn Parvin, U.S. Army in Hawaii; three daughters, Sue Walker and Wannell McReynolds, both of Lubbock, Eloise Gilberson, Houston; one brother, Raymond Parvin, Wichita Falls, 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Grandsons and grand-sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. They include Elbert Parvin, Jr., Johnny Parvin, Ed Lamb, Charles Mathews, Anthony bliss and Lloyd Pools.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery.
