SPUR — Mrs. Leota Overstreet, 57, a Dickens resident since 1931, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Methodist Hospital at Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Spur Church of Christ with Geroge Calvert of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Born August 13, 1907, in Haskell County, she married Ben Overstreet on May 23, 1929 in Guthrie. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and active in Girl Scout work.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Noah E. of San Francisco, and Coydell of Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. Billy Barcheers of Lorenzo; two sisters, Mr. O. L. Yarbrought of Rile and MMrs. Delphine Jones of Lubbock and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tom Green, H. H. Holly, Guy Thompson, Curtis Pennison, O. L. Kelly, and Guy Goen.
