Memorial services for Ned Nichols, 73 of Seminole were held November 3rd, 2003 at the M S Doss Community Chapel in Seminole, Texas. He was born in Dickens on May 13, 1930 and died Wednesday, October 29, 2003. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He served four years in the Navy during the Korean conflict and was stationed in Japan during most of his tour of duty.

He was proceded in death by one son, Kerry Max in 1971, and his parents, E.J. and Mary Nichols, July 1995 and November 1995.

He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Berry of Levelland, a son, Kevin Scott of Seminole, a brother, Benny Nichols of Seminole, a sister, Tookie Cash of Dickens, and five grandchildren.

A military service at the Dickens Cemetery is pending.
