Lewis Mullins U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Lewis Ray Mullins, 74, of Dickens were 2PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Dickens Cemetery with Rev. C.L. Atkinson officiating. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home in Spur.

He died Monday, December 12, 2005 in Lubbock.

Mr. Mullins was born September 24, 1931 in Dickens County to Raydell and Ruby Joyner Mullins. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He married Marie Edwards May 28, 1955 in Spur. While living in Fort Worth, Mullins was employed by General Dynamics. He retired from the Texas HIghway Department after 22 years of service. He served on the Dickens Volunteer Fire Dept. and Dickens City Council for several years. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Doris Hale.

Lewis is survived by his wife of Dickens; one daughter Donna Forbis and husband Craig of Lamesa; one brother, Ronnie Mullins of Springtown; one sister, Wanda Richardson of Crosbyton and one granddaughter, Mandy Forbis of Lamesa.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
