Services for Winnie Mae Miller, 70, of Spur, were held at 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev. C.L. Atkinson officiating. Burial was in Dickens Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in Lubbock.

Mrs. Miller was born April 11, 1933, in Spur to Jess and Estella Morgan Hobson. She graduated from Patton Springs High School in 1952. She was a retired nurse. She had worked at Spur Nursing Home and Crosbyton Care Center. She was a member of Friends of the Library and Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1984, and one daughter,Nancy Gail Jones, in 1969.

She is survived by her mother, Estella Hobson of Spur; two sons, Joe Miller of Spur and J.R. Fehland of Lexington, TN; one daughter, Janice Elmore of Spur; one brother, Lonnie Ray Hobson of Stratford, OK; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
