Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mae Luman, 63, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Dickens. Rev. Victor Crabtree officiated, assisted by Rev. Rod Redard.Mrs. Luman died at her home in Dumas, February 14. She had lived most of her life in Dickens County, but had made Dumas her home for the past nine years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Gene Huffine, Dumas; Betty Joe Myers, Colorado Springs, Colo.; one son, Jimmy Luman, Northgleen, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. T. L. Conaway, Dickens; Mrs. C. L. Clark, Dumas and Mrs. W. E. Laure, Aistonio; one brother, Ray Finchum, Spur; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers included A.N. Dunlap, Ralph Ethridge, Earnest Martin, Arner Porter, Jeraid Prater and Bow Ethridge.
Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
