Amy, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lovell died Wednesday morning in the Lubbock Sanitarium, following an operation for some character of home disease from which she had been suffering several months. The remains were interred Wednesday afternoon in the Dickens Cemetery.Death in any instance is a sad occurrence, but when it comes to such a one as this young daughter of our friend our heart is touched in their sorrow. She was beautiful, bright and a loveable young girl, just emerging from innocent childhood into young womanhood. Her disposition and loveliness attracted those whom she met, invited and held the admiration and love of associates and all who knew her.
Time only may relieve the sting and sorrow in the passing of one near and dear to us, but there should be some consolation in the knowledge that whatever may be in that Great Beyond the very brightest is for such as Amy Lovell.
