Funeral services were held for Robert Lee Littlefield Sunday, Jan. 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Dickens Baptist Church. Rev. Thomas Harris of Plainview and Rev. E.J. Keith of Afton officiated the services.

Mr. Littlefield was born Aug. 31, 1862 in Gonzales County. He married Jane Hurt in Concho County and later he and his wife moved to New Mexico. Mr. Littlefield worked on the Matador Ranch for a number of years, before they moved to Croton. They were presently living in Afton when Mr. Littlefield became ill.

Pallbearers were six nephews, J.C. Porter of Levelland; Tom Porter of Floydada, Sam and Bob Porter of Afton, R.C. Littlefield of Dickens, and Pete Brown of Abilene.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Littlefield of Afton, 2 sons, Clarence of Afton; and Houston of Dickens; 1 daughter, Mrs. A.G. Freudenberg of Vallejo, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Coffey of Abilene.

McDonald Funeral Home of Matador had charge of all the arrangements.

Interment was in the Dickens Cemetery.
