Memorial Service for Eddie Ray Laster was held April 27, 2013 at the Hwy 70 Chruch of Christ, Spur, Texas with Tommy Bailey officiating. Eddie "Peg" Ray Laster was born October 20, 1930 in Duncan Flats, Texas to Eddie B.and Lorene (McCarty) Laster. He died April 11, 2013 in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
"Peg" married Charlotte Ann Watley on August 17, 1952 in Dickens Co., Texas, she preceded him in death in 1985. Their children were: Terry Ray and Eddie Randall "Randy" Laster. He married Kay Margaret Rottmayer, August 13, 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Lorene Laster, his wife Charlotte, three brothers, Austin, Robby Joe and J.W. Laster.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kay Margaret, sons, Terry (Deborah) of Forney; Randy (Colleen) of Balch Springs; Joe (Cynthia) Ruiz of Mesquite, Andy Ruiz of El Rancho, NM; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brother Bobby Laster (Susie) of Dickens; two sisters: Alma Paschall of Dickens; Lois Leugers of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting place was dedicated at Dickens Cemetery.
