Graveside services for Olivia Kautz, 83, of Dickens were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2001 in Dickens Cemetery with Ben Kautz officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.Mrs. Kautz passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2001 in Crosbyton. She was born Nov. 3, 1917, in La Paloma, TX She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Ralls. She had been a resident of Dickens County since 1962.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kautz Sr., in 1947, and one son, William Jr., in 1991.
Survivors include one son, Richard Kautz of Dickens; one daughter, Amelia Calvillo of Idalou; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
