Funeral services for Lena B. Johnson, 66, were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Christ, Dickens. Billy McBride, Post, officiated, assisted by Jim Spradling, minister of Dickens Church of Christ.

Mrs. Johnson died at her home Sunday. She had been employed as a cafe cook. She had been a resident of King and Dickens County most of her life and had resided in Dickens since 1943. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, J. T. (Red) Johnson, Dickens; two daughters, Mrs. Wanzela Murphy, Aurora, Colo.; Mrs. Helen Young, Hobbs, N.M., two brothers, J.P. Bachman, Tahoka and Charley Bachman, Crowley; three sisters, Mrs. May Hopper, Corpus Christi; Mrs. Euna Belle Copass, Santa Ynez, Calif.; and Mrs. Elsie Poole, Higgens; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Casket bearers included Buck Scott, Harold Goodwin, Alfred Clay, Foy Jackson, Gene Taylor, Floyd Jackson, J. D. McCormick and Norman McCormick.

Honorary pallbearers included Homer Jackson, Jimmy Chesney, Jim Offield, Johnnie Koonsman, and Guy Goen.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
