Last rites for Lon A. Hyatt, 55, of Dickens, were conducted at the Methodist Church in Dickens, Friday, February 3, at 3 p.m. with Rev. M.J. Morton, officiating.

Mr. Hyatt died in Dickens last Wednesday of a heart attack.

The deceased had been a resident of Dickens County since 1913 and had resided in the Wichita community.

Burial was in the Dickens Cemetery under the direction of the Chandler Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Selmar Dugan and Mrs. Jettie Hall, both of Abernathy; two brothers, B.A. of Dickens and Steve of Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. Lometta Shipman of Crosbyton; Mrs. Birdie Shaw of Spur; and Mrs. Louise Ray of Amarillo.
