DICKENS (Special) — Services for Fern Hawley, 65, of Dickens will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dickens Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under direction of Seigler Funeral Home in Matador.

She died Saturday morning at Corodao Community Hospital in Pampa after a lengthy illness.

She lived in Dickens County for about 50 years. She married Virgil Hawley Feb. 25, 1942. He died April 22, 1982.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Robert of Pennington, Ark., Neal of Westbrook and Joe Dale McCormick of Fort Worth; four daughters, Linda Grant of Pampa, Rita Yarbrough of Hobbs, N.M., and Gayle Taylor of Dickens and Doris Swain of Alexandria, La.; a brother, Walter McCormick of Dickens; 18 grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
