DICKENS (Special) - Services for Bedford Lawton Harvey, 79, of Dickens will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. C. L. Atkinson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

He died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at his residence. Justice of the Peace Geeneta McAllister ruled natural causes in the death.

He was born in Afton and had lived in Dickens County most of his life. He married Annie Lemons on April 28, 1928, in Dickens. He was a retired farmer and a member of Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James of Midland; two daughters, Joyce Stroman of Bracketville and Mary Jo Brown of Dickens; two brothers, Louis of Crosbyton and Lilburn of McAdoo; a sister, Sybil Kelley of San Antonio; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
