Services for Annie Belle Harvey, 75, of Dickens, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 25, 1989 in the Dickens First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert E. Field, pastor of Amarillo´s South Georgia Baptist Church and Rev. C.L. Atkinson, pastor of Afton Baptist Church officiating.

Burial followed in the Dickens Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mrs. Harvey died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 1989 in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 1, 1913 in McAllister, OK and married Beford Lawton Harvey April 28, 1928 in Dickens. He preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1986.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Dickens First Baptist church. She moved to Dickens in 1919 from Buffalo Gap, TX. One daughter, Joyce Stroman preceded her in death June 2, 1987.

Survivors: one son, Price James Harvey of Midland, one daughter, Mary Jo Brown of Dickens; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
