Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur, for Mrs. Addie M. Guyear, 82. Rev. Norris Taylor officiated, assisted by Rev. O.L. DeWees, Afton.

Mrs. Guyear died August 21, 1975 at her home in Spur. She married John David Guyear in Comanche County in 1910 and had lived in Dickens County since 1927. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Velma Bostick and Mrs. Evie Allen, both of Spur; one son, Roy Dale Guyear, Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Edinburgh and Miss Ethel Hughes, both of Dublin; five brothers, Frank, Dewey, Harley and James Hughes, all of Dublin and Bartowe Hughes, Mineral Wells; five grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Buddy Wright, Jim Offield, Mutt Bostic, Charlie Wyatt, Buck Partridge and Wayne Richey. Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
